Operations Solutions Coordinator

SUMMARY

Coordinate daily activities within a department. Respond to inquiries that arise. Work with multiple parties, both internally and externally, to ensure smooth operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s preferred
• Minimum Experience: Six years of relevant experience required

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES and/or SKILLS

• Manage agent onboarding process on new/existing awarded business to ensure compliance of customer requirements
• Assist agents with executing account strategy upon implementation of awarded business & 3PL opportunities
• Communicate with agents on daily operational issues
• Understand, translate and document customer requirements to provide direction to IT EDI Tech staff for managed accounts
• Monitor EDI transactions to ensure compliance of customer's expectations on managed accounts
• Provide Support to Operations, Pricing and Sales team on system requests for best account solution
• Initiate, prioritize and implement EDI integrations for managed accounts
• Manage agent and customer compliance to requirements on awarded business
• Utilize available system tools to identify underperforming accounts to grow the business
• Drive root cause analysis and problem resolution on managed accounts
• Recommend system & operational best practices in order to best implement & grow managed accounts
• Ensure agents are properly trained & aware of Landstar tools designed to help manage their shipment workflow
• Act as liaison between agent and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of open items on managed accounts
