2nd Shift MOLD SHOP/FABRICATOR
About the Role:
Custom Glass Solutions, Upper Sandusky, Ohio is seeking Machinists or people with Machining and metal fabricating experience or training to perform in the Mold Shop area. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who possess the ability to work Safely in a team and collaborate with co-workers. Responsible to read and interpret mechanical drawings, select proper materials for machining and fabricating, proficiently operate manual late and milling machines and other shop floor tools, equipment. Generate mechanical drawings when needed. At times will be cross trained with other skills used in the tooling department/ Mold Shop and bending tooling needs. Train other employees on Machining skills. Self -motivated, creative, entrepreneurial culture.
Manual machining & lathe experience
Welding experience preferred but not required
Familiar with hand tools/ power tools
Familiar with shop floor equipment, saws, lathe, iron worker, late mill, drill press etc.
Valid driver’s license & clean record
Forklift experience preferred not required - Ability to safely operate forklifts & order picker lifts
Work orders/ requests
Flexible hours/ last minute OT will happen

The Maintenance Technician ensures the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment, performs regular services/procedures and proactively troubleshoots equipment breakdowns.
