POSITION SUMMARY:

This position directs the day to day maintenance and custodial needs of the Center.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Trouble shoots and reports any mechanical/equipment issues.

  2. Completes minor repair work and projects in a timely manner.  Coordinates with contractors that work in the facility and grounds. 

  3. Directs and performs as needed custodial and cleaning needs for the facility.

  4. Works with outside agencies such as fire, security, Health Department as needed or requested by Regional Property Director.

  5. Advises management on maintenance issues and projects as requested.

  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Skills and experience in maintenance and project management.

  2. Excellent communication skills.

  3. CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required within 30 days of employment.

  4. Ability and current license to drive with record that meets YMCA standards.

  5. Familiarity with computers helpful.

  6. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.

  • The work is performed both indoors and out, and may require travel to various locations.
