DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:(include scope of authority)


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Experience ranging from small dollar procurements to large capital equipment expenditures including leases, Software Licensing and construction contracts.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Logistics and Supply Chain ERP systems.

  • Collaborate with the other groups within the Logistics and Supply Chain team as assigned (Logistics Analysts, Physical Logistics, etc.) to create efficient processes and procedures streamlining operations to reduce costs and improve operating margins.

  • Experience with Mil-Spec packaging requirements, Freight Forwarding, ITAR compliance and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).

  • Signature authority up to $100K.

  • Prepare and issue enquiries, requisitions, and purchase orders according to project schedule

  • Negotiate with Suppliers to obtain competitive price, delivery, and contract terms

  • Submit proposals for single line item Government solicitations

  • Successfully plan and execute purchasing requirements in support of P&L program requirements

  • Timely resolution of escalated supplier issues

  • Work with cross-functional team to manage supplier qualification status and performance

  • Solicitation, negotiations and formation of procurements under Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts, both commercial and non-commercial products, incorporation and flow down of appropriate terms, conditions, and clauses in compliance with the prime contract and federal and DOD required regulations and other purchasing duties as required.

  • Position requires the ability to work closely with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to develop requests for quotes, Statement of Work(s) and final subcontracts and purchase orders.

  • Issue Purchase Orders and ensure compliance with applicable terms and conditions.

  • Familiarity with compliance of DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) and ISO 9001 Quality System.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES), ETC.):

  • Minimum 5 years of supply chain, subcontract management or related experience with US Government Single Line Item solicitations/contracts.

  • Strong understanding of Government FAR/DFARS Regulations, Import/Export requirements, and procurement processes.

  • Experience operating across multiple locations and programs.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with internal & external customers at all levels of the organization.

  • Plan, organize, and perform work ensuring assigned duties meet required deadlines.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point).

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Must be organized with ability to adequately plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple projects.

  • Role model for open and honest communications as well as demonstrated trust and respect for peers and teammates.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Combined government Commodity Procurement, Subcontract Management, or Supply Chain experience.

  • Ability to collaborate and operate effectively with a virtual team.

  • Sound problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity.

  • .Ability to communicate effectively and work with internal and external customers

  • Ability to bring teams together to resolve issues and achieve targets and goals

  • Sense of ownership and urgency
