The Health and Wellness Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for the monitoring and development of health and wellness initiatives for the VS2 program. The Health and Wellness Administrative Coordinator will facilitate COVID-19 medical screening, testing, reporting, employee training, development and updating of the VS2 COVID-19 response plan, and communication of current workforce COVID-19 status for the VS2 program.In addition, the Health and Wellness Administrative Coordinator will collaborate with the Ft. Benning COVID-19 Contact Tracing team, the Logistical Readiness Center, Post Safety, and State Health regulatory agencies as necessary.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and maintains Health and Wellness initiatives and COVID-19 response plans and protocols to ensure employee health and safety while minimizing significant financial impact to the company and the work force.

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of current Health and Wellness and COVID-19 plans and protocols and implements changes as required or advised by the CDC, OSHA, Georgia Department of Public Health and the Fort Benning Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE).

  • Conduct on-going assessment of local, state and federal guidelines from organizations such as the CDC, OSHA, Georgia Department of Public Health, DoD/Army COVID policies, and municipal health regulations that impact the organization.

  • Schedules, coordinates and conducts health, wellness and COVID-19 protocol inspections of sanitation and mitigation measures at VS2 work centers in order to identify and assist in correcting unsafe and unhealthy work conditions or practices.

  • Conduct COVID-19 mitigation, proper sanitation, and report procedure training for current VS2 workforce and for all new hires as part of initial onboarding.

  • Facilitates and conducts COVID-19 screening and testing for all VS2 employees in accordance with plans and protocols.

  • Develops and implements VS2 COVID-19 contact tracing plans and protocol as required.

  • Communicates health, wellness and COVID-19 related matters, to include case information to applicable VS2 contractor(s).

  • Internal contacts include risk management personnel, Health and Safety personnel, office managers and employees. External contacts include the Martin Army Hospital, Ft. Benning COVID-19 Contact Tracing team, the Logistical Readiness Center, Post Safety, local medical/laboratory professionals and State Health regulatory agencies.

  • Conduct other health and safety duties as required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, ETC.):

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a medical professional

  • Experienced at developing and implementing health and wellness medical plans and protocols.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), if required.

  • Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license, if required.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Should have an understanding of various Covid-19 testing protocols.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDE LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, SECURITY CLEARANCE, TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS, ETC.):

  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), if required.

  • Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license, if required.
