SUMMARY: The Inventory Manager oversees the inventory levels of businesses by utilizing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, and negotiating with various suppliers. They lead a team of inventory or warehouse employees that purchase, receive and record stock as its delivered and utilized in the repair of civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:(include scope of authority)


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Utilize ERP system to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Examine inventory levels to determine and prevent shortages.
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
  • Monitor daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers on various product lines.
  • Recruit and train new employees
  • Other duties as assigned.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • College Degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software and forecasting techniques.
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.



PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS


  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • CPIM certification or equivalent


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:


  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
