We are looking to add a detail–oriented 1st Shift QA Inspector in our dynamic Quality Department.  As the QA Inspector, you will identify and prevent quality problems at their earliest possible stages of production to minimize the quantity of products leaving our facility that does not meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand, exercise, and enforce basic cGMP and safety requirements and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and tests of simple weighing and measuring devices.
• Document test results and line process issues which affect product quality.
• Monitor quality of all phases of goods produced for initial, reworks, or returned goods.
• Investigate quality issues to determine root cause(s) and communicate issues to Quality Management as well as provide immediate feedback to Production Management and Personnel.
• Check all samples for color, odor, and appearance (clarity, sediment, foreign material contamination, and floating material).
• Pull all quality product retains and customer samples as required.
• Approve shipper labels as required.
• Review product Fill & Assembly Instructions and assist Production Staff with proper assembly of finished goods to ensure designated requirements are met.
• Additional tasks as assigned by management, including serving as a floater to assist other areas of the assembly process.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to do math calculations which includes but is not limited to addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages
• Team player who can also work independently
• Prior experience in a cGMP regulated fast paced manufacturing environment highly preferred
