Position Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing a collection portfolio for the UniGroup business lines, building, and maintaining a working relationship with the agency families and our customers to achieve optimum collection results.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts through a collection software that provides a path for collection activity, dispute resolution and creation of collection notices to our customer and or agency families
  • Collaborates with other departments to resolve a wide range of issues that include clarifying charges, correction to invoices and finalizing the accounts
  • Reviews customer accounts and makes recommendations based on outstanding account balances for referral to outside collection agencies
  • Monitors credits and debits received to ensure accurate application to the portfolio
  • Performs other duties or works on projects as assigned to meets business needs
  • Well informed of Board Policies
  • Performs a variety of other duties as assigned

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED. Associate’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in collections
