JOB SUMMARY

Gain experience in non traditional pharmacy practice and multiple facets of the pharmacy industry. Understand and participate in the operation of various PrescribeWellness departments and affiliates. Manage all aspects of assigned PrescribeWellness Pharmacy Practice Innovation programs and projects.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under general direction, specific duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


To collaborate on, assist with, and manage programs and projects with various PrescribeWellness

departments and affiliated organizations

o Participates in PrescribeWellness and Pharmacy Practice Innovation programs and projects

as identified and approved by the Associate Director of Clinical programs.

o Attends/participates in regularly scheduled meetings related to programs and projects to

observe and participate in the relationship PrescribeWellness and the Pharmacy Practice

Innovation have with other organizations and each other.

o Attends/participates in external meetings with other pharmacy, health care, association and

government groups and serves as a representative for PrescribeWellness and the Pharmacy

Practice Innovation at these meeting.


To manage assigned PrescribeWellness Pharmacy Practice Innovation projects.

o Based on experience, manages assigned research and demonstration projects and provides coordination, resources, and support to team members and participants.

o Communicates with project team members, advisory boards, external consultants and participants to ensure timely implementation and execution on project-related tasks and goals.

o Secures and directs logistical functions associated with project events.


To manage business functions of assigned PrescribeWellness Pharmacy Practice Innovation

programs and projects.

o Based on experience, manages assigned research and demonstration projects and provides

coordination, resources, and support to team members and participants.

o Tracks progress of expenses against budget and reports discrepancies and trends.

o Collaborates with budget manager to track and reconcile inflows and outflows for assigned programs and projects.

o Assists in program and project related departmental budgeting processes.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 Be able to work well with people of various backgrounds and education levels and establish cooperative working relationships with all coworkers.

 Evaluate and analyze problems or tasks from multiple perspectives; adaptively employ problem solving methods to find creative or novel solutions; use logical, systematic and sequential processes to solve problems.

 Complete assigned job tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

 Carefully prepare for meetings and presentations; follow up with others to ensure that agreements, tasks or commitments have been fulfilled.

 Demonstrate commitment to achieving Company’s core business objectives of increasing the role of pharmacy and improving patient health in America.


DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

 Experience working with healthcare professionals in a clinical setting.

 Experience resolving issues that do not have clear answers.

 Highly motivated and possessed excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.

 Office management skills, including ability to organize physical/electronic material/files and project management details

 Attention to detail; good analytical skills

 Microsoft Word/Excel proficiency preferred

 High sense of urgency and accountability

 Adaptable, friendly, and ability to work with a team.

 Excellent attendance


SKILLS, EDUCATION, OR EXPERIENCE

 Pharmacy degree required from an accredited university, with pharmacy and/or medical industry experience.

 Experience working with healthcare professionals in a clinical setting


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as preceptor for pharmacy and healthcare field related interns. Ensure interns perform quality, productive work and contribute meaningfully to the mission of the Company.
