Industrial Cell - Operator Technician I (7am - 7pm) Day Shift

Teel is looking for energetic, motivated and skilled production workers to support our plastic extrusion operations at our facility in Baraboo, Wisconsin.  Teel has a long history of  plastic processing and we are growing.  If you have previous manufacturing experience and want to join our team, apply today.

As an Operator Technician I, you will be responsible for:
Running multiple complete extrusion lines, and complete or coordinate all tasks for those lines.
Maintaining the condition of the equipment and the quality of the products that they produce.
Responsible for the set-up, start-up, troubleshooting, and general maintenance of equipment on assigned lines.
Recording quality checks according to the inspection sheet directions. Package and label according to the packaging directions.
Tearing down line at the end of a work order that includes return all necessary paperwork an tooling to the proper areas.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Adhering to safety standards and practices.
Navigating company operating system and perform basic computer functions.

Knowledge and Experience:
Must be able to use a variety of tools (i.e. wrench, screw drives, level) to remove and replace components to exact specifications and work instructions.
Must be able to operate and set equipment to specified speeds, pressures, temperatures, and other critical processing parameters.
Must be able to measure product dimension using hand gauges such as micrometers, calipers, and other measurement equipment.
Basic math skills required.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
Technical ability a plus.

Wages starting at $16.60/hour
