Lead Administrative Coordinator
Overview:
Therapeutic Associates, Inc. - Juanita Physical Therapy is seeking a Lead Administrative Coordinator to join our team! Therapeutic Associates, Inc. specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy and pride ourselves on our one-on-one patient care and strong relationships with referral sources. Duties & Responsibilities:
The Lead Administrative Coordinator provides customer support by applying clinic administrative policies and procedures and effectively utilizing administrative systems.
· May coordinate the daily operations of clinic administrative support staff
· Ensures payment for services by verifying insurance and obtaining insurance Authorizations
· Educates patients about their insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work
· Ensures intake procedures are followed and complete
· Minimized cancellations and empty appointment slots
· Compiles medical records as directed by the Central Business Office
· Track authorizations, supply inventory, and record management
· Tracks patient experience feedback
· Occasional driving for business needs
· Other tasks, such as minor aide duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 2 years of customer service experience
- 2 years of prior medical office experience preferred
