Defining problems, conducting and narrowing research, analyzing criteria, finding and analyzing solutions, and making decisions. Much of an engineer's time is spent on researching, locating, applying, and transferring information.



q  Creativity, innovation of new departmental processes and / or new products.

q  Reliability, be available to complete tasks / projects as required by internal / external customer requirements.

q  Communicate with various departments, external customers, or directly associated with assigned tasks / projects  (Verbal and Written)

q  Occasional travel, mainly training purposes, customer projects, trips to Japan, or vendor evaluations.

q  Take verbal and / or written directions on tasks, training, project or department / company policies.

q  Provide verbal and or written results, summary of tasks / projects, or requests to various persons during execution of tasks / projects.

q  Produce the end product of requested tasks in the form of components, assemblies, drawings, data files, proposals, reports, or presentations.

q  Collect, interpret, and clarify customer requirements

q  Understand electrical and pneumatic schematics

q  General understanding of communication protocols

q  Review customer specific applications as it relates to our products

q  Provide specific customer support

q  Lead projects

q  Assist other engineers with projects

q  Provide training to engineers/sales/customers

q  Record daily activities

q  Will be assigned tasks for training and development purposes

q  Other duties, as assigned to support company goals

q  Understanding and interpreting mechanical drawings

q  Frequent communication with customers, internal and external

q  Customer application evaluation and troubleshooting

q  Ability to perform pneumatic calculations 


q  Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.

q  Occasional physical demand of moving or rearranging files and file storage boxes, and or product

q  Fast-paced Office Environment


q  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar discipline

q  Minimum +8 years experience

q  Proficient with CAD software (Design & Manufacturing disciplines)

q  Complete understanding of the company’s production and supply chain practices (Design & Manufacturing disciplines)

q  Good oral and written skills

q  Ability to deal with internal and external customers tactfully and in a professional manner
