Performs assigned tasks to support Company Goals. Much of the Engineer Technician’s time will be spent producing output under the direction of an Engineer or Management in the form of tasks such as: test analysis, components, drawings, reports, and other duties as requested.



q  Creativity, innovation of assigned tasks

q  Reliability, be available to complete tasks as required by internal / external customer requirements

q  May be required to communicate internally in the department or with individuals directly associated with assigned tasks (Verbal and Written)

q  Take verbal and / or written directions on tasks, training, or department / company policies

q  Provide verbal and / or written results, summary of tasks, or requests to various persons during execution of tasks

q  Produce the end product of requested tasks in the form of components, assemblies, drawings, data files, or reports as requested under routine supervision

q  Provide product assistance to Manufacturing or Distribution as requested

q  Perform Engineering tests, product reliability tests, and / or performance tests from defined written test procedures, under the supervision of an Engineer or Supervisor as requested.

q  Perform product testing and teardown analysis for Product Claims under routine supervision

q  Provide support to Project Leads on specific project tasks

q  Fulfill assigned duties as set forth in your individual Career Development Plan

q  Record daily activities

q  Determines the selection of the most appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing engineering tools, machines, sub-assemblies and final assemblies

q  Implements process adjustments and improvements as needed

q  Resolves production issues in a timely manner

q  Assists other manufacturing engineers as needed

q  Assist design engineers in the selection of manufacturing best practices

q  Provides technical expertise and assistance to internal and external customers

q  Other duties, as assigned to support company goals 


q  Sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time

q  Able to stand for long periods of time

q  Occasional physical demand of moving or rearranging files and file storage boxes, and or product

q  Fast-paced work environment

q  Occasional Physical Demand for moving and relocating production equipment on the factory floor

q  May be required to wear personal protective equipment

The work environment may expose employee to noise, heat, cold, dust, oil, grease and/or coolants 


q  Preferred Associates Degree in an Engineering discipline or the equivalent in appropriate education and experience as determined by management

q  Preferred experience with MasterCAM and/or LabVIEW 

q  Preferred experience with CAD software (Design and Manufacturing disciplines)

q  Preferred experience with use of hand and power tools

q  Good oral and written skills

q  Ability to deal with internal and external customers tactfully and in a professional manner
