Winch Truck Driver

Want a driving job that allows you to get out of your tuck and stretch your legs?  Want a job that allows you to go home every day?  Want to work in the oilfield?  Keep reading.

What you will do.

As a Winch Truck Driver, you’ll operate a single winch, to load and move frac tanks; or with the use of a float (flatbed trailer) to pick up, transport and unload oil field servicing or drilling equipment including but not limited to open top tanks, sand separators, choke manifolds, pipe racks, catwalks and any other equipment.

What you need to know.

There will be long days and some weekend work.  You will likely learn the oilfield phrase, “Hurry up and wait!”  While you sit on a job site waiting for instructions where to offload the equipment on your truck.  You will have to work in all weather conditions, rain or shine, hot or cold.

Why you want this job.

You’re not going to be stuck in the seat all day.  You’re going to be able to get out several times a day and that adds variety to your day.  You will be held to DOT regulations, so you won’t be asked to work more than 70 hours per week.  And we’ll supply you with all the uniforms, tools, and equipment you need to get the job done.

Peak Oilfield Services participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.  If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, Select is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.  Select only uses E-Verify once you have accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
