JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for all functions and tasks as related to the Human Resources Office including recruitment, training and development, records management, employee relations.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Professionally represent Water Country to all applicants and Team Members.

  • Process hire requests and maintains listing of all open positions for seasonal positions.

  • Review applications and screen applicants providing feedback to the departments hiring manager for review.

  • Assist with in-person interviews as needed.

  • Assist with teaching the general orientation program and ensure that all team members complete the program. 

  • Using Dayforce, hire all employees and make sure that all documents, handbooks, agreements are completed.

  • Assist the HR Manager in the development of new procedures, policies, forms, etc.

  • Distributes paychecks weekly to employees.

  • Reviews payroll records daily checking for errors.

  • Manages the employee incentive program.

  • Assist with administrative tasks including but not limited to answering the phone, distributing mail, and lost & found.

  • Other duties as assigned.

     

    SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • College course work in Human Resources or Business Management preferred

  • Prior experience in conducting orientations or prior leadership experience preferred

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Must be capable of performing work independently and handling sensitive materials

  • Must exude professionalism at all times with guests, employees, management and corporate HR contacts

  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Must be a team player and must be able to communicate well with others

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet corporate deadlines

  • Must possess a strong knowledge of MS Office Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point

  • Prior knowledge of Dayforce and HireRight preferred.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position items and boxes weighing up to 25 pounds

  • This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing.

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying climates.
