Water Country - HR/Payroll Assistant I
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all functions and tasks as related to the Human Resources Office including recruitment, training and development, records management, employee relations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professionally represent Water Country to all applicants and Team Members.

Process hire requests and maintains listing of all open positions for seasonal positions.

Review applications and screen applicants providing feedback to the departments hiring manager for review.

Assist with in-person interviews as needed.

Assist with teaching the general orientation program and ensure that all team members complete the program.

Using Dayforce, hire all employees and make sure that all documents, handbooks, agreements are completed.

Assist the HR Manager in the development of new procedures, policies, forms, etc.

Distributes paychecks weekly to employees.

Reviews payroll records daily checking for errors.

Manages the employee incentive program.

Assist with administrative tasks including but not limited to answering the phone, distributing mail, and lost & found.

Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

College course work in Human Resources or Business Management preferred

Prior experience in conducting orientations or prior leadership experience preferred

Excellent verbal communication skills
-
Must be capable of performing work independently and handling sensitive materials

Must exude professionalism at all times with guests, employees, management and corporate HR contacts

Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Must be a team player and must be able to communicate well with others

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet corporate deadlines

Must possess a strong knowledge of MS Office Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point

Prior knowledge of Dayforce and HireRight preferred.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Ability to frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position items and boxes weighing up to 25 pounds
-
This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying climates.
