Water Country - Security I

A security team member should enjoy working with guests in a positive manner providing exceptional customer service. The perfect candidate should like to always be on the go and a natural problem solving remaining calm in tense situations. Prior security experience is helpful but not required.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create a safe atmosphere from the parking lot, bag check/entry, and inside the park
• Check all bags entering the park enforcing park policies including bringing no food and beverage
• Patrol interior of the park enforcing park rules and deescalate any tense situations
• Search for lost children and guardians
• Assist in emergency situations including park evacuations
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 18 years old
• Comfortable approaching guests in professional manner while enforcing park polices
• Remain calm in tense situations
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk the entire day
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
