Propane Logistics Coordinator

Tevis Propane is currently looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Propane Logistics Coordinator. This candidate will be responsible for handling the day-to-day logistics of propane delivery and technician scheduling.

This position is required to be in night-call operator rotation.

 Responsibilities:

• Design, optimize, and schedule routes daily for propane bobtails and service vehicles to customer locations
• Direct line of communication for drivers and technicians to manage issues or handle changes
• Run daily reports and review routes, maximizing efficiencies and ensuring all deliveries are made in a timely manner to avoid run outs
• Adjust to rapid and significant changes in workload due to weather, road conditions and other factors affecting deliveries/service appointments
• Handle all aspects related to tank monitors, such as entering account information, scheduling monitor replacements, and assisting with purchasing
• Data entry
• Assist in hiring of Propane Drivers and Service Technicians
• Performs additional duties as needed

Requirements:

• General knowledge of the propane industry
• Proficient in computer technology, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Experience in a dispatching and logistics role preferred
• High school or equivalent (required)
