Professional, Data Analyst, Network Risk Adjustment
Status: Full-time Exempt: Yes
This qualified professional will be responsible for the creation, analysis and accuracy of data extracts and reports including but not limited to ROI, member eligibility, provider data and risk adjustment projects.
Actively participate in the development, testing and implementation of file extracts and layouts to meet vendor and regulatory agency requirements. Oversee the extraction, integrity, and submission of Risk Adjustment data. Project Management. Attend department and team meetings. Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Associate with commiserate experience.
Fields of Health Administration Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science or related field. Master’s Degree Preferred.
Minimum Experience:
3 years’ experience in related field for Bachelor’s Degree
5 years’ experience in related field for Associates Degree
Required Skills:
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Beginner or Intermediate SQL skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and produce results within deliverable timelines
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate Word skills, including the ability to create moderately complex documents containing tables and graphs.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create simple formulas, link data, enter and sort data and produce graphs and charts.
Beginner or Intermediate Microsoft Access skills, including the ability to create simple to moderate queries
Proven ability to analyze, report and provide insight on large sets of data
Minimal travel required.
Preferred Skills:
Previous Health Insurance experience
Working knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCs and Revenue Codes
Knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and state agency guidelines
Knowledge of revenue and data issues relating to CMS/HHS & state agencies
Experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI #ZIP
