Motivate LLC is looking to hire a highly organized and detail oriented Paralegal to join our growing team. In this role you will be able to tackle a combination of compliance, litigation and contract work. You will report into the Associate General Counsel and will be able to make a real impact as our team continues to grow and expand within the US.

o Review and evaluate compliance issues and concerns within the organization and ensure they are appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
o Lead audit process- Maintains a schedule for all operational audits and looks for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, timeliness of response to compliance issue or lack of compliance with laws, government regulations, and management policies or procedures.
o Consult with Legal Counsel, as needed, to resolve difficult legal compliance issues
o Assist in preparing reports to management that detail the results of audits and recommended corrective action
o Prepare, organize, store and retrieve compliance information
o Attends compliance schools and information sessions to become knowledgeable and skilled in compliance requirements. Reports requirements to management and may train departmental heads in compliance processes, requirements and controls.
o Draft tender of claim notice to carrier/third-party
o Tracking of litigation claims – deadlines and outside counsel billable hours/costs
o Document subpoenas/ request for personnel records- management of business in production of documents, organize and review initial docs to be produced, and tracking of documents
o Legal holds- draft from template and track
· Administrative / Contracts
o Legal entity management- business licenses renewals
o Initial draft or review and redlining of simple agreement types – NDA, Amendments, Vendor Work Orders
o Oversee the administration of the contracts database
· You hold a bachelors degree from an accredited university or have equivalent work experience
· You have at least 5 years of experience as an in house paralegal
· You are an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
· You are extremely detail oriented and can efficiently manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
· You are over organized and excel in project management
· You thrive in a laid-back work environment where you can challenge the status quo and speak out about your ideas
· You over communicate to those you work with and rarely miss a deadline
