Assistant Manager for Station Tech
Motivate is seeking dedicated individuals for full time employment supervising daily Station Technician operations. The Station Technician Supervisor is responsible for supervising various daily work flows including station inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting as well as various special projects.

Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical training and guidance to team members.
Identify, investigate, and address technical and quality control problems.
Monitor the status of the Motivate system to identify and resolve all station-related issues.
Troubleshooting and repair of bikeshare stations and their components.
Supervise technicians under the direction of the Operations Manager and/or other designated leadership.
Drive a truck or van, or ride a bicycle to inspect Motivate stations for proper operation, perform routine station maintenance, adjustment and cleaning.
Evaluate bike condition, perform bike inspections, document and record data regarding bikes and related equipment, and escalate if needed
Remove trash, leaves, snow, graffiti, stickers, or other litter on and around the stations.
Assist with bike pick up and asset recovery when needed.
Data entry for work order tracking purposes.
Keep and maintain clean and presentable work areas, tools and equipment which may include, but is not limited to, company vehicles and work locations, at all times
Assist with bike and bike station deployment, expansions and relocations.
Communicate effectively and efficiently using verbal, written or typed communications with supervisors, managers and support related positions
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Supervise station maintenance and daily operational tasks of the technician team while ensuring Motivate policies and procedures are being followed. Escalate issues or concerns to the Operations Manager or designee.
Manage various projects and work flows through delegation and teamwork.
Identify and respond to all station emergencies ensure all issues are resolved, tracked, and recorded
Follow safe work practices and help create and maintain a safe work environment
Complete assignments through delegation and team work
Communicate professionally and timely with all customers, management, vendors and employees
Escalate issues as needed to Operations Management
Work with all Motivate employees and team members to ensure timely and productive workflows
Additional duties and responsibilities as determined by management.
You have a Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Mechanical and technical aptitude.
Experience in construction, fabrication, or other similar trades.
Experience with basic hand tools and power tools.
Basic computer and data entry skills; advanced computer skills a PLUS.
You are excited to work outside and help maintain service standards for the bikeshare system
You have experience driving in New York City (especially in traffic or congested areas)
You are comfortable with Microsoft office and Google apps
You are excited by change and remain open to others' ideas
You are a team player who is patient and willing to experiment and try new things
You are reliable and dependable. You are committed to working all scheduled work hours. (work schedules may include, evenings, weekends and holidays)
You can effectively and professionally communicate with management, co-workers, vendors and customers
You can lift up to 75 pounds; stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
You are able and willing to work outdoors, year-round and in all weather conditions.
