Community Engagement/Social Reporter

The Richmond Times-Dispatch is seeking a driven and talented reporter to join our award-winning team to produce content ranging from quick web stories to long-form enterprise journalism, as well as video, multimedia storytelling elements, social media work and more.

The focus of this position is not just to report on our vast dynamic and diverse communities with accuracy, diligence and compassion, but also to allow those communities to see themselves in our coverage. Earning trust, building relationships, understanding cultures and amplifying voices will be essential. We are looking for a self-starter who can identify trends and stories across the Richmond region, while also contributing to team enterprise projects in and around our coverage area.
