Credit Analyst - Credit
Hours: M-F, 10am-7pm
SUMMARY
To provide extension to credit worthy customers or help agencies with an alternative solution.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Obtain and analyze credit information on new and existing companies to determine risk.
Monitor accounts for credit extensions.
Analyze various credit agencies’ reports.
Communicate with credit agencies on discrepancies.
Manage large amounts of incoming calls and customer inquiries.
Communicate with customers to identify and access their needs to achieve customer satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
Ability to diffuse elevated situations involving irate customers, agents, and regional personnel.
Communicate with multiple departments to ensure customer master data is correct, credit is reviewed, and invoices are mailed timely and accurately.
Create all new customers in key systems
Update existing customer records to ensure customer master data integrity in key systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Proven decision making skills and the ability to communicate decisions concisely and professionally
Exceptional negotiating skills for problem resolution
Working knowledge of iSeries 400 system, helpful
Working knowledge of Word and Excel, preferred
Customer service experience
Data entry 88kpm
Transportation experience, helpful
Commitment to the Quality Process
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail with understanding of financial analysis, preferred
Bilingual skills, Spanish preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required.
Minimum Experience: Two years commercial credit experience, preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
