RTG - Truck Install Technician II

POSITION SUMMARY:

Truck Technicians work under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to complete the installation of specialty truck equipment such as dump bodies, crane bodies, bumper cranes, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·Install truck bodies, body cranes, bumper crane, plows. etc.

·Mount hitches, shelves, drawers

·Install ladder racks, mud flaps

·Install back-up cameras

·Train mechanics as needed

·Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Basic mechanical knowledge

·Basic welding skills, electrical wiring, hydraulics, etc

·Ability to operate power hand tools

·Experience with wiring or hydraulics preferred

·High School Diploma or GED preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:

·Work occurs in a production facility

·Exposure to heat/cold

·Standing, sitting, working in semi-confined spaces
