Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager oversees the management of materials and planning for the organization to align with financial goals, operational improvements and customer on-time delivery expectations. Working cross-functionally, the Supply Chain Manager develops procedures, metrics and reporting in coordination with areas such as sales, marketing, finance, and production. This position will also assist with the continued creation of the supply chain strategy and further integration of supply chain concepts into the organization.

Position Responsibilities:
Owner of the Master Production Schedule across two manufacturing facilities
Manages MRP parameters in JDE to ensure proper outputs are maintained
On-time delivery performance and continued implementation of a system driven metric
Manage activities related to material requirements planning and controlling inventory
Implementation and utilization of scheduling software solution
Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance
Reporting and metric development and monitoring
Grow the SIOP process and solidify the importance of adherence to plan within the organization
Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance
Monitor forecasts to determine effects on supply chain activities
Assist with the development of cycle count procedures
Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
Own and monitor forecasting and management of inventory turns with weekly reporting to ELT
Diagram supply chain processes and metrics to help facilitate discussions with customers
Establish stocking levels in line with financial goals and expected fill rate performance
Evaluate and select technology based solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials, inventory and customer demand
Logistics planning and optimization to include freight planning and cost savings opportunities
Develop SOP’s for Supply Chain related activities
Creation of reporting and metrics

Position Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain management or business

Work experience in a related field is required, with five years of successful experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management
Manufacturing industry experience preferred
Knowledge of logistics and transportation is a plus

Certification /License:

Skills and Abilities:
High level Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience working in an ERP system (JDE preferred)
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory turns
Advanced planning and MRP experience
Self-starter with capability to create a vision
Effective oral and written communication; excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
The ability to collaborate with a multi-department team
Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Supervisory responsibilities:
Manages Master Production Planner
Work environment:
Professional office environment
Sedentary work with extended periods of computer use
Occasional work in warehouse/manufacturing plant
Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
