Dividends Reorg Associate
The individual selected for this role will provide professional level support to all branches regarding dividend and corporate actions. Candidate will work closely with all Operations Teams to ensure timely and accurate postings of proceeds, timely and accurate delivery of time-sensitive information and will act on instructions from the field for all client accounts. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Accurate and timely processing of all cash and stock proceeds on payable date
- Accurate and timely notification to the field of upcoming Corporate Actions
- Ability to prioritize and execute duties quickly and accurately within tight timeframes
- Reconciliation of departmental suspense accounts on a daily basis
- Continuous monitoring of all daily functions with a vision for process improvement
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients (internal and external)
- Competently use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications to complete necessary operational duties
- Interface effectively with Operations and Management Teams, Operations Departments, and all other areas of the firm
- Update policies and procedures as necessary and draft new policies and procedures as needed
- Assist with projects and operations initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned and assist others when necessary
Required Skills:

- An effective team player that works well under pressure and interacts appropriately with others
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience using Thomson Beta, BRIO and Metaviewer a plus
- Familiarity with DTCC, JP Morgan, BONY a plus
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 0-3 years of experience required
- Related industry experience desired, preferably with Corporate Actions
- Series 7 a plus
