What you will be doing:
Responsibilities include performing task level activities such as data collection, drafting, or installation of equipment in the field.  Regular coordination with internal team members.
  • Utilize knowledge of software development and methodologies. 
  • Assist project managers with traffic engineering transportation projects including fieldwork, analysis, and preparation of presentations, graphics and other support tasks as needed.
  • Complete software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing, and beta support. 
  • Create documentation required of the product. 

What you need to be successful in this role:

    • Hands-on experience, technical training, and exposure to client intersections. 
    • Familiar with tools such as Synchro, Sim Traffic, VISSIM (multi-model traffic flow simulation software package), AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.
    • Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.    
    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required  
    • Working towards Technical certification, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Field of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred 
    • Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.   
    • Active Listening - Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.   
    • Adaptability - Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.   
    • Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
