Attendant - Parking Attendant Full Time
The Full-Time Parking Attendant is responsible for working as a collaborative team member performing duties in their assigned location with the highest efficiency and quality to assure a best-in-class parking experience for those who visit, work, or live at the Company assets being served by the parking program.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
§ Greeting customers and handling their inquiries and parking needs in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
§ Promote effective positive relationships with team members, ticketed customers, business tenants and residents.
§ Collect daily revenue from customers.
§ Deposit daily revenue.
§ Prepare daily shift report of tickets, validations, and revenue collected.
§ Assure cleanliness of the parking areas and reporting of equipment maintenance needs.
§ Receive and respond to radio calls to assist customers with payment, ticket processing, location of car and other parking needs.
§ Placement of signs, barricades, cones, and traffic direction duties when needed.
§ Completion of required training to enhance knowledge and job performance for the parking attendant position.
§ Other duties as assigned.
JOB FUNCTIONS
§ 70%: Assisting customers with entry and exit into parking facilities through use of ticketed payment systems and access devices. This includes collection of revenue, tickets and documentation of action taken.
§ 15%: Cleaning parking areas, location of lost cars, traffic direction.
§ 15%: Other duties as assigned.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
§ Successfully pass a post- offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
§ Exhibit regular and consistent attendance in a timely manner at the place of work.
§ Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
QUALIFICATIONS
§ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
§ Basic math skills
§ Cash handling skills
§ Ability to speak and write English
§ Ability to work alone and with others
§ Ability to understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures, and instructions.
§ Ability to work various shift days, hours and holidays when assigned
§ Ability to work 40 hours per week
JOB WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
§ Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 25 pounds repeatedly.
§ Ability to walk moderate distances and work in all types of weather conditions.
§ Ability to complete on call work when necessary.
§ Ability to reach to floor and above head for cleaning tasks.
§ Ability to stand for long periods of time.
§ Ability to safely operation a golf cart.
JOB SCHEDULE
§ Full-Time, shifts available weekdays and on weekends on days and evening.
§ Shifts will be approximately 8 hours each; times available will be between 8-5 weekdays; Some Saturdays
§ Hours of work required will be 40 hours per week
