Responsible for preparing accurate project estimates by gathering information and analyzing important metrics.  Provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions through the gathering of first-hand information from plans, specifications and drawings.  Determine key variables for cost and other estimates based on industry, project and Novia business knowledge.  Support various business growth initiatives through efficient and effective communication and professional interaction.
 

Essential Duties:

·        Estimating & Customer Service & Support

• Provide accurate and timely estimates to one or more customers per project
• Gather, organize and analyze important data pertaining to projects
• Provide detailed product information and pricing upon request
• Collaborate with all departments within Novia to ensure smooth,reliable customer service and quality
• Negotiate as required with customer representatives, including project managers

·        Project Management

• Maintain company bid list(s)
• Collaborate with customers and their customers on cost savings opportunities
• Provide customer and other industry professionals with knowledge pertaining to Novia product

·        Promoting Growth

• Contribute to the Novia team effort by accomplishing tasks and achieving results
• Support inter-company growth efforts through sales channels with Carpenter & Paterson and the Hill & Smith network of businesses
• Work closely with all team members promoting collaboration and open communication

Ideal Candidate:

5+ years of estimating experience in vibration isolation, HVAC, and/or commercial construction.Thorough, reliable, analytical and passionate about their profession.

Detail oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task within a strong team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Friendly and well spoken. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, email and data entry.Must be able to work under time pressures, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
