DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER EQUIPMENT SUPPORT

Minimum 4-7 years’ experience in vacuum technology. Direct support of maintaining semiconductor processing equipment and working in a Cleanroom environment. Experienced on a large cross section of
research and fabrication equipment. Familiarity with MBE systems and UHV equipment. Computer skills using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint desired.
Maintenance and repair of semiconductor equipment: Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex processing and support equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Strength in troubleshoot and repair semiconductor and related equipment: Familiar with Etchers, PECVD, and MOCVD, MBE knowledge a plus.Evaporators, sputter systems, and dielectric deposition systems.
Post Process tools: Polisher, Grinders, knowledge of compressed gases and chemical handling. Vacuum
pumps including oil pumps, dry pumps, turbos, and cryo pumps and cryo compressors. Helium leak testing and understand Abatement systems also a plus.
Strong ability to interact with co-workers, engineering staff and equipment vendors in a team oriented environment. Good communication skills are essential. Work with vacuum and pressure systems. Work safely around acids, solvents, toxic and potentially hazardous gases. Work in a Class 10 Cleanroom.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Working within a Class 10 cleanroom environment. Must be able to work safely around toxic & potentially hazardous materials, gases and chemicals. Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity. Good hand eye coordination. Respirator capable desired. Heavy lifting required.
High School, AS or Technical School and or minimum of 4 to 7 years’ experience with maintenance repair of Semiconductor processing equipment with a strong aptitude in understanding electronics schematics, mechanical, and vacuum and pressures assemblies. Read and write technical maintenance documents.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (e.g. driver’s license special tools or restrictions):
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
First Shift available, 9/80 Work schedules are available after completion of all HRL training requirements.
