The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Manager will maintain and mature Home Point’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) capability. The ERM Risk Manager will provide support at the enterprise level and will identify and implement improvements to increase the value and effectiveness of the ERM program. The ERM Risk Manager must be experienced linking risk, loss events, and Key Risk Indicator development. Key responsibilities include performing risk assessments; analyzing emerging risks; enhancing risk reporting; maintaining the ERM concept of operations; identifying key risk indicators and key performance indicators; and developing ERM training, job aids, tools, templates, and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience providing reporting support at the executive level.
 

Responsibilities:
 

  • Conduct Risk Assessment and mitigation activities
  • Support the identification, categorization, assessment, tracking and monitoring of Enterprise Risks
  • Develop standardized risk communications and templates, policies and procedures
  • Maintain and refine the risk appetite framework and escalate risks outside of approved tolerance levels
  • Support governance cadences and deliver high quality reports to the ERM Leaders
  • Identify and recommend improvements and efficiencies in the ERM governance, risk validation, and reporting processes to further advance the program maturity and improve the quality of program deliverables
  • Oversee Risk Assessment Engagements and Calendar
  • Plan and facilitate training/working sessions with Senior Leaders
  • Design and implement effective training, communications, and awareness programs to educate personnel at all levels about ERM requirements and responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to establish and monitor of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

 Skills and Qualifications:  
 

  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years of experience in lieu of Bachelors) with risk management and risk governance best practices and guidance from (COSO) required
  • Experience supporting risk assessment programs in a Financial Services industry required
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint required
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Strong presence and consultative and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence from the middle
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
