The Coremaker Isocure Operator is responsible to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the coremaker equipment by the timely and accurate completion of assignments. The Coremaker Isocure operator perform all tasks with safety, high quality and productivity in mind in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. The
Coremaker Isocure operator works closely with production supervisors, leaders and other operators as well.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify, Lead and implement one continues improvement (Kaizen) project every quarter.
Always exhibit superior safety practices every day evidenced by outstanding housekeeping .
Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.
Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.
Producing high performance on quality cores, productivity and scrap rates.
Complete and/or enter weight records and core process information as required.
Maintaining compliance to process card instructions
Adhering to all plant and company policies
Notifying the supervisor of any noncompliance items
Performs other duties or functions as requested by his/her supervisor.
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and be self-motivated.
Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Two (2) years of experience documenting production activities through an electronic system.
Two (2) years of experience creating process improvements or continuous improvement initiatives
High school diploma or GED
Attention to detail
Able to act quickly when a problem arises
Able to follow instructions and production schedules
