SUMMARY
Operate, maintain, program and troubleshoot the robot cleaning cell. Final clean up of castings prior to sending to inspect. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions.  Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the casting processor based on specific part number requirements.  Respond to and correct error codes.
Program equipment for various casting configurations, minimize machine cycle time, and optimize production.
Load castings onto belt and insure proper seating for each machine cycle.
Inspect castings and grind surfaces not completed by the robot.
Perform visual casting inspection and use various measuring instruments and tools to inspect castings. Notify appropriate supervisor of quality concerns as necessary.
Operate fork truck as necessary to transport full or empty containers.
Change grinding and cutting wheels in accordance with established procedures.
Record all scrap on appropriate log or information system and forward information or suspect castings to appropriate department.
Perform normal maintenance up-keep on machine and arrange for machine repairs by contacting supervisor or Maintenance Department as necessary.
Complete routing tag information, change and label boxes of finished castings and scrap material.
