1st Shift-Friday thru Monday 05:00am-3:30pm.

Assist with the installation and maintenance of plant electrical and control systems. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.


Inspect, isolate and troubleshoot electrical problems or operating difficulties. May devise specialized testing equipment for use in troubleshooting and pinpointing malfunctions.

Troubleshoot, design, and program PLC controls and logic diagrams.

Determine need for and effect repairs and adjustments.

Install and maintain plant electrical systems for power, lighting, controls and facilities in accordance with local codes and safety requirements.

Work from manufacturing drawings, schematics, blueprints, diagrams and specifications.

Perform emergency repairs when necessary to prevent excessive production delays.

Maintain high voltage substations and electrical installations in clean and well maintained condition.

Observe extreme caution and good safety practices while servicing plant electrical systems.

Perform mechanical trouble shooting and repair assignments as required.

Understand hydraulics, pneumatics, AC, DC and 3 Phase circuits, motor generator principles, motor control theory, motor drive and coupling alignment, electrical code, electrical control devices, high voltage maintenance, electrical test equipment, panel building and wiring and advanced PLC logic.
