The Account Manager role is a new position on a hybrid sales team designed to grow and scale fast. Account Managers are responsible for the retention and growth of WordStream | LOCALiQ customers. The Account Manager oversees the entire customer relationship post-sale, including onboarding, account set up, client center training, monthly campaign performance reviews, ongoing support, and new advertising channel opportunity identification. The AM is able to deliver through successful collaboration with their designated Customer Success Manager who works as a Teammate to ensure campaigns are built and running in line with the agreed upon goals discussed during the sales cycle. If you have customer relation, sales & retention skills + knowledge in a broad range of online advertising techniques and methods, this is a great opportunity to help define a client’s ‘Customer Journey’.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Connect, consult, and own the commercial relationship with new LOCALiQ customers
  • Drive the entire customer retention process by engaging with prospective customers, utilizing technology to perform individualized campaign analysis to facilitate upsell and cross-sell opportunity
  • Prepare and present personalized online solutions via screen-share; guiding your prospects through the LOCALiQ buying process
  • Achieve and exceed customer retention and upsell requirements while maintaining daily and weekly activity metrics
  • Leverage Salesforce.com and other relevant sales systems to facilitate sales activities
  • Cultivate new business referral opportunities from existing clients
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective customers and work with your management team to provide an accurate sales forecast
  • Upsell to key decision makers within organizations with Google, Facebook and Bing
  • Set-up new client campaigns for success

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and goals
  • Digital Marketing acumen
