Ventures Events is seeking a Sales Specialist to help facilitate events. Ventures Events is an event production company specializing in delivering world-class events for the media industry and the communities they serve. Job Duties

·       Design sales flyers for all phases of the program;

·       Design sales launch PowerPoints for the Community Choice Sales Leaders;

·       Help facilitate all special section details with our designers (ex. obtaining deadline dates, creative dates, printing dates, etc from the markets);

·       Creation and upkeep of ballots within Second Street platform for all properties for each phase;

·       Help Create intake forms;

·       Ballot monitoring (moderate votes and monitor for fraudulent voters);

·       Work with all properties in training for the Second Street Platform;

·       Work with the promotions team to help promote and execute;

·       Work with properties on uploading their banner ads to the platform;

·       Publish winners’ site;

·       Work with properties on their enhanced listings and uploading these into the platform;

·       Work with the promotion team on redirects to newspaper site;

·       Work with second street on new updates to platform;

·       Work with property on setting up contest rules;

·       Work with property on setting up the business listing tracker and filling these in.

 

Requirements

·       Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as Google Drive experience;

·       Knowledge of GHL events is a plus;

·       Some travel may be required;

·       High-level attention to detail;

·       Ideal candidate has excellent presentation and communication skills.

 

Additional Details

 

·       Build and sustain relationships with Advertising teams - both management and reps;

·       Assist with weekly/monthly calls with properties;

·       Work with our Promotions team to collaborate fresh ideas for Best of Best events;

·       Offer assistance both over the phone/email to the properties working with;

·       Team environment - able to work well with diverse personalities and people;

·       Self-initiator - ability to manage your own time and schedule both at home and on the road;

·       Represent Ventures with professionalism both at the properties we work with and in front of clients across the country;

·       Set an example of the industry's leader in events;

·       During event season ability to work overtime and assist with event set up and execution;

·       Pulling Leads Generated from Second Street;

·       Providing previous year data to include revenue and votes by category;

·       Dropping the approved top 5 list in the VFM sales tracker for rep assignment;

·       Dropping the approved top 5 list in the Enhanced Listing Tab;

·       Uploading all 554x100 banners/category headers once link has been sent;

·       Securing all house ads for promotions;

·       Pulling Top 3 list and getting approval by market before the final drop into the sales tracker;

·       Dropping the approved top 3 list in the Special Section Sales Tab;

·       Dropping the approved top 3 list in the Enhanced Listing Sales Tab;

·       Top 3 Business Listing Trackers;

·       Promotional ads for all phases.
