Assistant District Manager - Part Time
Gannett Publishing Services, located in Salem is recruiting for a part-time District Assistant Manager. This position assists the District Manager with a variety of operational responsibilities in Home Delivery and Single Copy including transportation, customer service, and general distribution operations. Schedule can include varied days and hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Delivery of products to consumers and retailers.
- Recruit and oversee independent contractors to ensure expected level of customer service standards and contract terms are met.
- Responsible for supporting single copy sales, including product positioning/merchandising, placement, inventory control, and outlet growth.
GED/High School Diploma
Proven excellent customer service experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong PC skills including Microsoft office required. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record, dependable automobile, and liability insurance required. Proven leadership/management and/or distribution experience preferred.
