As the E-commerce Website Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing several of our high-production ecommerce websites. If you have a strong analytical mindset but also think strategically about the customer experience, this is a position where you will be empowered to have a significant impact and we offer you a fantastic opportunity to be part of our global Digital Transformation. You will be part of the Digital Sales team and collaborate closely with our Development team, Analytics & Optimization team, Media team and Marketing team to improve website experiences and drive digital sales performance.  

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve multiple E-commerce websites
  • Utilize a data-first approach to develop comprehensive website strategies that position our brands and products, accelerate user acquisition, and increase revenue
  • Partner with the Analytics team to understand how prospects and customers use our sites
  • Monitor site performance/reporting to understand traffic patterns/shifts
  • Identify optimization opportunities to improve customer experience and conversion, collaborating with Analytics, CRO & Development teams to execute on opportunities & increase sales performance
  • Be the voice of the customer. Monitor the competitive landscape, and how our sites compare
  • Work closely with Marketing and Media teams to ensure consistent messaging from advertising to website to sales completion
  • Liaise with internal product & marketing teams to develop Go To Market plans, define business requirements, prepare roadmaps, prioritize and follow up on implementation
  • Collaborate with SEO & Content experts to ensure SEO best-practices are met and identify content & search optimization opportunities
  • Work with development project managers to ensure on-time & effective execution of site features & updates
  • Manage communication on site development with team members and key stakeholders
  • Operate from minimum viable product thinking and continuous improvement
  • Investigate, refer, resolve bugs and drive continuous improvement on process and technology level

 

 

Experience/skills We're looking for someone capable of thinking strategically and commercially and being able to translate this into action. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from different departments to deliver the best possible result for our customers.

  • 5-7 years of experience with a proven track record of implemented ecommerce improvements, marrying data & design to drive performance 
  • Extensive Background in E-commerce Site Management & Digital Sales
  • Strong analytics skills, capable of understanding sales funnels and conversion drivers
  • Strong optimization & testing background
  • Fluent in interpreting data and reports to inform website strategy
  • B2B or long sales cycle experience or Finance/Banking/Credit experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Experience Manager & Target
  • Pragmatic and results-focused
  • Creative out of the box thinking
  • Experience in an agile scrum environment is a plus
  • Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude toward problem solving
  • Strong organizational skills
  • BA in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics

Our Strategy

FLEETCOR is a growth company, and we employ a simple three-prong strategy for growing our business:

  • More Customers. We invest more than $200 million per year in sales and marketing, predominately focused on new customer acquisition. We continue to scale existing sales channels and headcount, enable our sales people with demand generation and other tools, and launch new distribution channels both internally and through partners such as ERP software providers, telematics companies, and banks. We will also grow our customer base inorganically through acquisitions.
  • More Spend. We seek to leverage our existing customer relationships and capture greater share of their business payment expenditures. As such, we have developed various “beyond” initiatives, where we extend the utility of an existing payment product without degrading the core value proposition of the original product.     • Our Fuel card customers can enable their cards to allow non-fuel purchases relevant to their business, like allowing a painting crew to buy supplies at a home improvement store, so they can finish the paint job.
    • Our Toll tag customers can use their in-vehicle RFID tags to make other “on the go” purchases like parking, fuel and fast-food.
For our customers, these product extensions reduce payment friction, saving them time and operational headaches. For FLEETCOR, these product extensions can increase our share of wallet with existing customers and can increase our products’ appeal and applicability to previously-unserved customer segments (e.g., non-toll urban dwellers). We also create new product offerings, developed internally or in conjunction with partners, to cross-sell to our existing customer base.
  • More Geographies. We continue to seek attractive entry opportunities in major international markets, which we intend to pursue through acquisitions and partnerships.
