MuleSoft Program Lead
Description
Responsible for leading
the rollout and adoption of MuleSoft globally across Fleetcor. In collaboration
with Fleetcor’s Enterprise MuleSoft Architect, defines all processes and
procedures for initiating new MuleSoft projects within Fleetcor, onboarding new
Fleetcor teams and team members to MuleSoft, and implementing MuleSoft projects
consistent with Fleetcor’s MuleSoft standards and best practices. Supports the
establishment, evolution, and operation of Fleetcor’s MuleSoft Center for
Enablement (C4E), including performance of the C4E Service Delivery Enablement
Lead role. Leads Fleetcor’s MuleSoft Service Delivery Community of Practice and
facilitates the collaboration and coordination of the MuleSoft Service Delivery
liaisons from Fleetcor’s business units. Works closely with Fleetcor’s
Enterprise MuleSoft Architect to define core MuleSoft common services and
frameworks, document the requirements, and manage their implementation by the Enterprise
Architecture MuleSoft team using an Agile delivery approach. Documents Fleetcor
C4E processes and manages the C4E Confluence site where all MuleSoft
documentation is maintained and made accessible to Fleetcor MuleSoft project
teams. Hosts and facilitates MuleSoft educational forums for Fleetcor line of
business teams to ensure their understanding of C4E processes and assets and
enable their success with the platform. Advises, supports, and provides
expertise to MuleSoft project teams on C4E processes, tools, assets, and best
practices. Maintains general MuleSoft project information and provides summary
information to leadership on MuleSoft use and progress across Fleetcor.
Prepares monthly Service Delivery report for C4E Governance meetings.
Evangelizes the use of MuleSoft across Fleetcor and serves as a positive
influence for its adoption and use.
Nature of Contribution
Acknowledged as a
subject matter expert on all Fleetcor MuleSoft processes and assets, and a
leader who can be trusted and relied on to guide a MuleSoft project team to a
successful start. Known as a facilitator who provides the proper guidance for
initiating a new MuleSoft project and for assembling the right MuleSoft
technical SMEs to support a project team’s onboarding, design, development, and
deployment efforts. A “go-to” person within Fleetcor’s Enterprise Architecture
team to ensure a successful MuleSoft plan and implementation. As a leader with
visibility across Fleetcor’s MuleSoft landscape, works closely with the
Enterprise MuleSoft Architect and MuleSoft Platform Lead to plan sufficient
platform capacity and technical support. Maintains a C4E backlog of common services,
frameworks, and other initiatives needed for MuleSoft success within Fleetcor.
Project and Process
Management
Possesses strong
project management skills and uses Agile methodology to define Fleetcor’s C4E
backlog and lead Fleetcor’s Enterprise Architecture C4E team in delivering it. Uses
strong technical background to identify and address opportunities, needs, and
risks in Fleetcor’s MuleSoft ecosystem. Continuously seeks process improvements
and optimizations.
Communication
Serves as a collaborator,
coordinator, and facilitator across Fleetcor MuleSoft delivery teams, lines of
business, and Service Delivery liaisons. Documents MuleSoft processes and C4E
common services and framework requirements. Manages and maintains the MuleSoft
C4E Confluence site. Hosts MuleSoft training, onboarding, and orientation
sessions and creates supporting presentation decks. Reaches out to stakeholders
of all management levels to ensure C4E awareness and proactive support. Demonstrates
proficiency to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to
various levels of business users, management, and technical/non-technical
personnel. Champions the use of MuleSoft across Fleetcor and engages MuleSoft
technical SMEs to enable MuleSoft delivery teams to develop and deploy with
speed, quality, and maximum reuse.
Required Qualifications -
5+ years in an IT leadership role leading an enterprise-wide API technology
transformation5+ years project management experience in development and deployment of enterprise
software systems2+ years’ experience leading multiple Scrum teams as a servant leader
Hands-on, practical experience in developing APIs and integrating enterprise software
applicationsHands-on, practical experience in gathering and documenting software development project
requirementsProven ability to coordinate and manage multiple, concurrent projects of varying size
Experience building effective cross-functional partnerships with business and technology
stakeholdersAbility to prepare and present project status and metrics readouts to IT and business leadership
Adept at defining and documenting new processes
Familiarity with Confluence and the ability to learn it sufficiently to build and maintain
the Fleetcor C4E sitePassionate about customer satisfaction and ensuring that MuleSoft implementations are
successfulStrong interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate solid collaboration and
facilitation abilities
