 JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for creating and implementing all talent acquisition procedures.  Supervising the recruiting team and reporting on it’s performance.   This position requires flexibility and creativity in recruiting methods and events.  Responsible for updating and implanting changes/updates in recruiting software.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

  • Develop all processes recruiting for all assigned departments and properties
  • Posting all assigned departments open positions
  • Review the submission background requests at the time of job offer
  • Analyze all recruitment and turnover data, implement plan for continuous improvement
  • Develop sustainable recruiting strategy
  • Create job descriptions
  • Partner with Marketing/PR to ensure property branding strategy to attract high quality applicants
  • Participate in recruiting events – including interviews
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Provide support to Payroll and HR Team

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Must be flexible, detail oriented, able to prioritize and able to multi-task effectively
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential materials and information
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple distractions and meet timelines
  • Must be able to think outside the box, think quickly and make changes quickly
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication with all levels of management
  • Ability to problem solve and strategize for better solutions

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • BS in Communication, Human Resources HR Related field preferred
  • Three (3) years experience in HR position with increasing level of responsibility

 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
  • Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.
  • These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow team members
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
