About The Role
 

Director of Service Operations - located anywhere in North America

* oversee Field Service resources, Service Dispatch functions, and Asset Management activities including RMA function for the Service Operations business unit, building the team and the processes for an integrated workflow.  

What will you be doing? 
Strategic
  • Oversee the management of the transformation Field Service and Service Dispatch as integrated groups with streamlined workflows to create a unified process for field service throughout the organization using internal and subcontracted resources.
  • Develop close communication and collaboration with Technical Operations leadership for resource optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain an integrated relationship with the NOC setting expectations and being involved in service delivery from call to completion.
  • Maintain the profitability of the Service organization through analytical review and oversight of process from start to finish.
  • Establish and measure KPIs to drive and track success of the organization.
  • Develop unified approach to asset management and RMA processing for tighter profitability tracking.
  • Overall talent strategy for the Service delivery teams including recruitment, coaching/mentorship, development, engagement, and retention.
Operational
  • Oversee the field management and asset/RMA management functions. including training and development.
  • Oversee functions for technician dispatch and ordering of parts.
  • Coordinate field operations across all regions.
  • Provide on-site customer quotes in collaboration with NOC and other applicable departments
  • Manage a large contract labor force including training and setting standards and clear expectations for best-in-class service delivery.
  • Participate in and where appropriate, take a leadership role, in technology and software development and training including the on-going development of ConnectWise and associated tools.
  • Manage the coordination and profitability of RMA and asset management and tracking operations, including warranty and out of warranty statuses.
