This position is with our company Fab-Tech, which manufactures PermaShield Pipe (PSP®), a revolutionary hybrid fluoropolymer coated stainless steel duct system recognized worldwide as the premier solution for corrosive and hazardous fume exhaust needs. PermaShield Pipe is a fully engineered, modular fume exhaust system that combines the reliability of stainless steel with the superior corrosion resistance of Fab-Tech's proprietary PermaShield Fluoropolymer Barrier Coating. PSP carries a highly regarded FM4922 approval as well.

JOB SUMMARY:                      

This full time position has the responsibility for training and mentoring a staff of 6-10 people.  As the lead of the receiving, clean, prep and trolley maintenance areas following all procedures, you will have to maintain efficiencies and maximize product flow. 



As a lead person you’ll be introduced to a series of duties and responsibilities    

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Update cut sheets that reflect product received.
  • Schedule, track and adjust all products for small and large lines, including the auto coater.
  • Oversee proper cleaning, masking and hanging procedures.
  • Maintain adequate levels of inventory for all responsible areas.
  • Ensure that all staff members are trained to prep products per specification.
  • Work with the shift supervisor to complete and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Communicate with staff in a professional manner at all times.
  • Coordinate monthly Quality meetings with staff.
  • Promote constant improvement.
  • Keep the work area clean and neatly organized.
  • Comply with health, safety (including OSHA), and environments procedures.
  • Comply with Work Safe Work Secure Manual and understand Employee Company Policy Manual.
  • Communicate all discrepancies with the shift supervisor.
  • Carry out all daily preventative maintenance duties throughout the shift.
  • Continue to learn and expand one’s own capacity with the job by increasing knowledge and skill base.
  • Perform other various assignments per Supervisor or Manager’s instruction.
