Critical Process Systems Group (CPS) is a group of manufacturing and design companies providing innovative product solutions to the semiconductor, life science, chemical processing, gas systems, wastewater, mining, power generation and other industries. This position is with our company ENGVT, which is a team of technically excellent engineers with multi-disciplinary experience in the design and construction of commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. We excel in challenging, first of a kind projects that require unique solutions.

SUMMARY: ENGVT is a growing consulting engineering firm located in Williston, VT with clients in HVAC/Buildings, semi-conductor, life sciences, food and beverage, and industrial manufacturing. Our projects are often in the Northeast, but also frequently around the country as we serve our long term industrial and manufacturing clients. The majority of our work is in direct construction support, design assist, and pipe detailing for off-site fabrication and construction productivity gains.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.

  • Design and detailing of Piping and HVAC mechanical systems.

  • Plan and effectively utilize the general time to advance the quality and efficiency of the office.


Work directly with other team members and project engineers, management of team varies with project and task. When owning a specific task, delegate and coordinate effectively with assigned supporting team members.

  • Strong CAD skills with AutoCAD Fabrication and Revit experience. Revit is our primary design tool with rapidly decreasing AutoCAD use.

  • Strong, detailed pipe design skills in building HVAC, process and manufacturing applications.

  • Understanding of construction procedures, fabrication drawing detailing requirements, and contract document (bid document) requirements.

Education and/or experience:

5+years of design experience. Experience performing pipe detailing for construction or as in-house mechanical contractor project engineering strongly preferred.

Language skills

  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small and large groups
