Under supervision of the Department Supervisor and following established policies and procedures, perform all post-closing duties relating to the servicing of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio according to separation of duties established by the Department Manager including but not limited to the below functional duties.
The incumbent has no direct reports.
Complete understanding of functions of Loan Servicing Assistant, including but not limited to the following: preparation of loan legal files for imaging, scan and file work papers and loan documents, process return items such as ACH rejects and NSF checks, perform loan maintenance callback, update collateral information on loans, and order supplies.
Process advances and payment requests, including funds in Factor accounts.
Process requests for auto debit/ACH set-up.
Process fee waivers.
Process loan maintenance as assigned.
Ensure assigned items are cleared daily from the Loan WIP account
Update collateral information in loan system
Callback daily transactions as assigned
Monitor, process and clear items assigned to you in the Loan Control account
Monitor receipt of incoming wire and process funds
Respond to borrower, branch, internal partners and others with excellent customer service.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent with some college business classes helpful.
- Experience: one to two years banking experience preferably in Loan Servicing.
- Skills/Ability: PC literate, proficiency with MS Office. Ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Organized and detail oriented. Bilingual (English, Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus.
