Vista Defense Technologies is seeking a Subject Matter Expert V to support Defense Health Information Technology Engineering project.
The successful candidate will serve as Subject Matter Expert V (KEY) in support of the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Clinical Infrastructure Modernization (CIM) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The scope of work supports worldwide enterprise Health Information Technology engineering support in the areas of Information Technology (IT) service designs, system engineering, systems administration, enterprise network, infrastructure engineering, infrastructure modernization, IT systems, systems deployment and integration, as well as Information Assurance (IA) and system support services for the consolidation of Army Medical, Navy Medical, Air Force Medical, and TRICARE Management Activity IT infrastructures into a single shared services delivery model supporting all of the Department of Defense (DoD) healthcare. This includes all of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) current Datacenter to Desktop services, including the following: Network and Security Management Services (NSMS), Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Local Core Infrastructure (LCI), Compute and Storage Management Services (CSMS), Directory Services and Enterprise Management Services (DSEM), Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Medical Community of Interest (Med-COI), and Data Center Operations (DCOPS).
Responsibilities:
The Subject Matter Expert V candidate will serve as KEY and lead a larger team providing support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and shall provide functional and technical support of a wide range Military Health IT systems. Systems will range from client-server applications employing interactive and batch processes, to customized web-based solutions operating in a distributed or standalone environment. Such systems include, at a minimum: NetApp Storage Area Networks (SAN) , HP Storage Area Networks (SAN), EMC Storage Area Networks (SAN), VMWare Server Virtualization, Microsoft 2012 R2 Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 2016 Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019, Actividentity and Axway Desktop Validator OCSP Responder, VMWare vCloud, VMware vRealize (vCenter Operations Manager), Microsoft Windows and Infoblox Domain Name Service (DNS) service, VMWare View, Dell Wyse Zero clients, Microsoft App-V, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Tanium, Microsoft SQL 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, F5 Big-IP, Citrix Netscaler and Access Gateway,
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 1912 LTSR, Citrix Provisioning Server, Citrix Storefront, McAfee Host Based Security System, Splunk, Cisco iOS/Nexus switching, HP Virtual Connect switching, Cisco AnyConnect Virtual Private Network (VPN), HP/Brocade Fibre Channel SAN Switches, HP c7000 BladeSystems (iLO), Dell server platforms (iDRAC), BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, DEVSECOPS, Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Redhat Openshift, JIRA, Github, AWS GovCloud, Azure GovCloud, FEDRAMP, and Enterprise Voice Over IP (VoiP) solutions
Requirements/Experience:
- Technical Training in information assurance, computer network defense, enterprise systems/computer systems or other similar systems and technologies related to C4ISR.
- Eighteen (18) years of hands-on experience to include three of the following areas: program management and strategic planning, Systems Requirements, HIPAA requirements, Medical Systems, Navy Medical, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Enterprise Strategic Planning and operations, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in one or more of: medical systems; FISMA; HIPAA law; advanced system architecture; hardware technologies; digital/analog communications technologies; applied physics; human factors engineering; computer simulation; electronic sensor technologies; and ERP.
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience demonstrating the ability to plan and lead a technical/engineering team in multiple, diverse engineering disciplines.
- Recognized expert (more than 5 years) who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in one or more of: medical systems; advanced system architecture; information assurance; hardware technologies; digital/analog communications technologies; applied physics; human factors engineering; computer simulation; electronic sensor technologies; and ERP.
- Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications.
- Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of DOD military specifications and standards.
- System design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations.
- Hardware and software Evaluation
- System Test and Evaluation, planning execution and management.
- System requirements planning and oversight.
- Technical development product milestone scheduling.
- Understanding of FISMA and HIPAA IA requirements.’
- Experience with the Defense Health Agency (DHA)
- Experience in one or more of the following: DaaS, CSMS, Medical Community of Interest (Med-COI), DSEM, Medical Application Access Gateway (MAAG), Application Virtualization Hosting Environment (AVHE)
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
- Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance
