M2 Tester

Vista Defense Technologies, LLC. (VDT) is seeking an M2 Tester

Evaluates and reviews work products, such as software applications, computer-based training, documentation, and infrastructure updates.  Conducts formal and informal reviews to determine quality and that changes meet the documented requirements.  Prepares a test strategy from application design specifications and functional specifications.  Provide quality assurance and validation for the data loaders as required.  May design complex and custom testing plans at the system, regression, integration and acceptance levels.  Performs Development Integration Testing (DIT) to include universe and report testing support and provide quality assurance and validation for the loaders as required for M2.  This includes:

15. o  Produce DIT Test Plans based on CRs/Requirements/User Stories.
16. o  Execute tests based on DIT Test Plans.
17. o  Report issues identified during testing to developers for rework. 
18. o  Document test results in DIT Test Report.
19. o  Answer questions from T&E (System Integration Team (SIT).
20. o  Assist EIDS Operations in development and testing of ‘User Installation’ guides to support Government users in installing COTS client software. 

Education Requirement:  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Business or other related discipline and five (5) years of experience testing applications. 

Knowledge of MHS data and/or M2 a plus.  Experience with DB2 or other relational database.
