Part-Time Circulation Delivery Assistant

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensure all routine route functions, including delivering newspapers, are maintained in the absence of a contractor.
2. Help train contractors to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
3. Conduct ongoing communication with customers to verify new orders, reverse cancellations and resolve service complaints.
4. Ability to promote and sell the newspaper while increasing market share.
5. Available to work various hours Mon. – Sunday and receive phone calls at various hours of the day.
6. Safely drive to and from various locations in assigned district.
7. Interact positively with customers and contractors.
8. On-site, regular and reliable attendance is required.
9. Safely drive to and from various locations.
10. Other duties as assigned

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Ability to follow all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance standards.
2. Valid Driver License with satisfactory driving record.
3. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Delivery experience preferred.
