The Resource Center has been providing services to persons with disabilities in the Chautauqua County area since 1958. From our humble beginnings as a gathering of parents and concerned citizens who wanted to provide educational and training opportunities for persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities, The Resource Center has grown into a comprehensive agency providing services to thousands of persons with all types and levels of disabilities.

The Resource Center is the largest non-governmental employer in Chautauqua County with more than 1,300 employees on its payroll.

The mission of The Resource Center is to support individuals with disabilities and other challenges in achieving maximum independence, contributing to their community, experiencing lifelong growth, and enjoying quality of life.

Lifeworks, LLC, a collaboration between The Resource Center, Intandem, and Arc Erie County New York, is seeking a Director of HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).  The successful candidate shall be responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic direction and goals of this multi-agency endeavor. He/she must possess an in depth understanding of HR software applications, advanced payroll practices and the operational and legal nuances within the fields of HR, Payroll and IT infrastructure.  In addition to maintaining a Policy, Procedure and Training catalog, this individual will also negotiate sales and program management services with new and existing stakeholders. The candidate will collaborate with current and future partners to ensure that HR and Payroll systems are appropriately optimized across all customers.   This position shall report directly to the Board Members of Lifeworks, LLC.
  

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and five+ years progressive strategic and program management exp.  Extensive demonstrated  technical and industry specific knowledge with HR and Payroll.  Must possess a strong business and strategic acumen in a non-traditional setting.  Applicable SPHR and/ or CPA preferred.  Position may require working remotely, with frequent travel throughout Western and Southern NY required.  Must have demonstrated analytical and reporting skills, be collaborative and customer focused.  Prior experience with Ceridian/Dayforce or similar software required.
