SUMMARY

The Replenisher II is a position that is responsible for loading/unloading trucks, checking in product, moving product throughout the facility, and keeping all product stocked appropriated for fulfillment.  Individuals will operate tow motors and scissor lifts while performing these duties. 
Other duties include maintaining the receiving log, priority lists, moves and audits of materials and assisting analysts with incoming shipment issues.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Drive forklifts/tow motors daily in support of all required duties

Opening and loading cases of product onto flow racks and shelving units

Keeping all product and accessories stocked as defined by SOPs

Assist in breaking down and checking in product after receipt on the dock

Keep all work areas clean and organized

Follow Fulfillment Center Safety Guidelines at all times

Work in production or other areas of the Fulfillment Center as needed

Load semi-trailer of outbound product daily

Unload product from trailers and trucks

Locate product within pallet racks using the Reach type tow motors

Receive expedited packages and deliver to appropriate department

Utilize inventory and warehouse management systems in the facility to locate and update information about products and inventory

Perform basic maintenance to forklifts (water batteries)

Locate all returned palletized product

Document all inbound product accurately

Assist in cycle counts and work with Inventory Analysts to ensure accurate inventory

Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments, including movement of product on the dock

Maintain daily receiving logs, priority lists, and incoming PO count sheets

Work with inventory analysts to identify receiving errors and issues

Complete daily audits of all product moves within the Replenishing Department.

Assist with month end pallet counts and other invoice functions

Regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED, HSED) is required.  Fulfillment/warehouse experience preferred; forklift experience a plus.  
 

TECHNOLOGY SKILL BASE

This position requires a working knowledge of computer technology that includes: Beginning Word and Excel, along with Client and Alta designated software.  Individuals must possess the ability to learn and understand new software and other technology applications as introduced by the Client and Alta Resources.
 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to eight hours, and stand. Manual dexterity which allows the individual to use hands to type on a keyboard, use a mouse and write are required, as is the ability to talk, and hear.   The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
