5100-Finance - LMG - Sr. Financial Analyst


JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will report to the VP Financial Services and is responsible for providing sound, accurate and timely financial analysis and all data queries and manipulation necessary to
support the decision-making needs of the leadership team. This individual will, independently and within cross-functional teams, analyze data to provide insights and recommendations on various aspects of the business. This includes but is not limited to, detect improvement opportunities in existing operations, analysis of new business interests, and ad hoc analysis as necessary. In addition, this individual will be responsible for the creation or improvement of management information metrics, reports, and dashboards as applicable, as well as
examining, optimizing, and supporting all business intelligence efforts at ADCS.

Primary Duties

·Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and financial spreadsheet modeling, using large data sets and a broad range of tools and technologies

·Develop forecasts and budgets for business units, departments, and total company with concise commentary and analysis

·Perform analysis of existing business as needed proactively and as requested to identify insights and recommendations around areas of revenue growth and/or cost control

·Develop and maintain reports, data extracts, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis requests for various internal stakeholders

·Assist in the creation and validation of strategic financial decision models and ad-hoc analyses for key organizational strategies and initiatives

·Develop, optimize, and maintains metrics that monitor clinic and corporate financial and operational performance

·Perform analysis and generate accurate projections of potential new business interests

·Develop project models and analytics for business decision and leadership presentation including project documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals)

·Create and maintain project schedules, plans, and specifications. Estimate time and resources, monitor milestone completion, track all phases of the project lifecycle, provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinate actions and resolve conflicts

·Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements

·Understanding of Indices, fundamentals and analytical data, returns level data etc.

·Develop financial reporting systems, perform data validation for appropriate use, and document data mapping

·Assist in contract modeling

·Serve as a key business partner working directly with cross-functional teams and leadership to assist in the ongoing budget planning needs of the organization

·Report timely on variances to budget with drivers and details on any material variances

Required Education

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Information Systems and/or related field

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skill including formulas, pivot tables, charts, graphs

  • Power BI experience building dashboards and reporting

  • Experience with financial analysis, financial reporting, and heavy financial modeling

  • Understand and manage needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of business process and systems optimization.

  • MBA strongly preferred

  • Mergers and Acquisitions valuation analysis a plus


  • Progressive professional healthcare finance experience a plus

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business analysis, or comparable position and/or experience in a business intelligence role

  • Previous experience with Power BI, deFacto, NextGen, SQL a plus
