Job Duties Include:

• Grossing, processing, embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping.

• Accessioning all specimens along with other team members.

• Performing special stains, following protocols.

• Putting slides together with requisitions double checking for accuracy.

• Cutting control slides.

• Quality control.

• Adhering to all policy and procedures.

Requirements Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Grossing experience preferred, but will train

• A Minimum of one year experience in the following:

  • Embedding

  • Cutting

  • Staining

  • Special Stains

  • Troubleshooting

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to do detailed multi-tasks.

• Ability to deal effectively and professionally with others

• Working knowledge of office equipment.

• Evening hours
